In 2013 the AWESOME (Achieving Women’s Excellence in Supply Chain Operations, Management and Education) initiative was created to focus on supporting the advancement of  women in supply chain. Since then the network of leading women in supply chain roles has grown to over 400 members.

This year marks the 4th annual AWESOME Symposium taking place from April 27-29 in Portland, Oregon.  Oregon is the home of the world headquarters for Nike, Inc. who is this year's host partner.
