Hassett Logistics is starting its 10-year anniversary celebration a little early by being named one of Women in Trucking (WIT) Association’s Top Woman-Owned Businesses in Transportation.
Hassett is known in the industry for operational excellence, combining reliable service with flexible solutions to deliver consistently on behalf of their customers. None of that could be accomplished without the strong, diverse, leadership the company has in place.
“As a women-owned business, we understand that diversity and inclusion are critical to the success of our team and to the value we deliver to our customers” said Michelle Halkerston, Hassett Logistics Owner & CEO.
WIT’s Redefining the Road magazine’s
“Top Woman-Owned Businesses in Transportation” was started in 2017. The criteria used to identify qualified applicants included majority ownership by a woman, financial stability and growth, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Michelle shared “This is a very special recognition for our team. Although we are celebrating 10 years under current ownership, we have a much longer history of providing top-notch transportation services. In recent years we have expanded our services to meet the changing needs of our customers, resulting in new opportunities and continued growth.”
“We thank WIT for shining a light on woman-owned transportation businesses. Our success is based on the strong relationships of our team, customers and partners, so this is definitely a shared award.”
